This notice covers this website, venus-system.io. The VENUS-ONE application itself is governed by the agreement each customer company has with us; its users should ask their own administrator.
Who we are
VENUS SYSTEMS LTD, registered in England & Wales, is the data controller for anything you give us through this site. Contact: hello@venus-system.io.
What this site collects, and why
- The demo request form. Your name, company, work email, optionally a phone number, what your company does, roughly how many people would use the system, the times that suit you, and anything you add. We use it to arrange and follow up a demonstration — that is the only purpose. Lawful basis: your consent, given by the tick box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you made. The form is processed by Netlify Forms and stored in our Netlify account and our email. We keep it for 12 months after our last contact, or delete it sooner on request.
- The assistant (the chat bubble). The questions you type are sent to Anthropic's API to generate an answer, together with the previous questions in the same conversation. We do not ask for or store your name or contact details in the assistant, and we do not keep a log of conversations. Anthropic processes the text under its API terms and does not use it to train models. Don't put personal or confidential information into the assistant.
- Server logs. Our host, Netlify, records standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. These are held for a short period and not used to identify you.
What this site does not do
- It sets no cookies — none of its own, and no third-party cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, and no social-media embed.
- Fonts and images are served from this site, not from a third party.
- We do not sell, share or rent your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@venus-system.io. We answer within one month. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Where data is held
Netlify's infrastructure (form submissions and logs) and, for the assistant, Anthropic's API. Both may process data outside the UK under standard contractual safeguards. The VENUS-ONE application's customer data is held in an EU-region managed database and is covered by each customer's agreement.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
